Our Bareboat Sailing Yachts and Catamarans are fully equipped and superbly appointed for hire cruises and charters in Australia.

Our service to you is friendly and professional and our aim is to ensure that your stay with us is memorable and enjoyable. With our experience and extensive local knowledge we can offer you advice on all aspects of your boating or sailing holiday to the magnificent Fraser Island Coast and Hervey Bay in Queensland’s most beautiful waters.

A Boating Holiday Destination Like No Other

We operate all-year-round in a safe and sheltered cruising area – The Great Sandy Strait of Queensland’s Fraser Coast – a boating holiday destination for decades and now with Fraser Escape’s extended-survey class of vessels we can offer charter limits beyond the usual restricted ‘houseboat’ cruising range, as well as advice on travel, timetables, accommodation, provisioning… or any other queries you may have.

With scenery and waterways to rival the Whitsundays area (but more affordable, closer and more convenient for you) Fraser Island and the Great Sandy Strait is recognised as one of the worlds premier eco-tourism and cruising destinations.

Fraser Island And The Great Sandy Strait

The Fraser Coast is only 3 hours drive north of Brisbane, while Virgin Blue, Jetstar and Qantas have direct flights from Sydney and Melbourne into Fraser Coast airport, just 5 minutes from our Hervey Bay marina.

Sheltered anchorages, brilliant sushine days, crystal clear waters, l-l-long white secluded beaches, abundant wildlife and an extensive cruising area mean some of the best boating and seasonal whale spotting in Australia. Only 3 hours by road from Brisbane and accessible from either Tin Can Bay on the southern end of Fraser Island or from Hervey Bay in the north.

Great Sandy Straits Marina is your launch point to this paradise – smooth, safe waterways, magnificent World Heritage scenery, great fishing and access to some of the best beaches and secluded anchorages you will ever find.

This is truely one of the unspoilt waterways of Australia’s east coast, fast becoming one of Queenslands most sought after holiday destinations. Take the opportunity to visit us and spend time relaxing and cruising this pristine location in luxury and comfort on one of our superb Fraser Escape charter yachts.

No License Needed

You don’t require a license to charter one of our cruisers. We brief you completely before you set out and are on hand to help you with all aspects of skippering during your time with us.
