Northney Marina is situated on the north shore of Hayling Island within Chichester Harbour, one of the largest natural harbours in Europe. The harbour’s sheltered waters provide safe cruising and there are plenty of anchorages to explore within the area, such as Itchenor with its quaint pubs or Bosham village.
Further afield, sail west to historic Portsmouth, explore the coastline around the Isle of Wight or go racing in the Solent.
Our Sparkes, Hamble and Solent marinas are all within easy reach; and for our annual berth holders, who benefit from the exclusive privileges of our Club Outlook scheme, the short-stay visitor berthing charge is waived. A cruise to the West Country is also appealing and annual berth holders can take advantage of the reciprocal berthing arrangements at our marinas in Plymouth and Torbay. The more adventurous can visit the Channel Islands, Holland and Belgium.
The facilities at this 228 berth marina are excellent. There is a relaxing customers’ lounge and sunny outside terrace as well as a shop selling essential items. The modern facilities’ building also includes plentiful showers and toilets, disabled facilities and a laundrette along with an office / reception.
Besides offering first-class berthing and marina services, Northney Marina offers excellent facilities for boat owners wanting to carry out boat repairs or maintenance work.
There is storage ashore for over 200 boats as well as a 35 ton boat hoist and crane for mast stepping. There is also a modernised slipway, with an access pontoon, giving easy access to the water for trailer sailors – with ample space for car parking and trailer storage. Among the extensive facilities available on site are a number of yacht brokers and marine related trades. Diesel is also available, enabling you to make the most of your cruising rather than making special journeys for fuel.
