Musket Cove Island Resort is very near to the Malolo barrier reef. The accessibility to the dive sites makes diving with Subsurface Fiji an ideal diving holiday. There is a wide variety of coral environments in which they dive, and are all between 2 – 30 minutes from our dive shop. FISHING
So you’ve always wanted to catch the BIG ONE? Let the Team take you to some of the best fishing spots beyond the reef. All your tackle is included and if you don’t want to kiss your catch and throw it back, our Team will fillet it so you can BBQ at the Island Bar.
Sport Fishing or Trolling
Enjoy 4 hours on the water fishing around the local reef areas and the Blue Pacific Ocean on our Motor Vessel ‘Anthony Star’. Our 30ft displacement vessel is an ideal little sea boat ensuring a smooth ride to the best fishing spots we have to offer. Featuring a cabin area, shaded cockpit, toilet, boarding ladder from the sea for swimming entry and an ice box, you’ll have all you need for a great fishing adventure. Popping options are also available.

CRUISES
Dolphin Safari and Barrier Reef Snorkelling with Take a Break Cruises
This half day cruise travels out to Wilkes Passage near Namotu Island in search of wild dolphins. We will then take you to the Barrier Reef for swimming and snorkelling before returning home via Tabasalusalu Passage. Freshly baked morning tea is included and there is a cash bar on board available for cool drinks throughout the journey.
Sunset Cruise with Take A Break
Set sail into the Sunset on our famous Sunset Cruise. We cruise around Malolo Lailai and surrounding Mamanuca Islands to music with a cash bar available for beer, wine and soft drinks. A cruise truly sets the scene for a romantic South Pacific Sunset and is “A Must Not Miss” cruise that could well be the highlight of your holiday.
25ft Speedboat “Energizer”
Available for island hopping to other resort islands and deserted snorkelling spots, Energizer offers a speedy way to explore the Mamanucas. Operating everyday 10:00am to 4:00pm discover some of Fiji’s best Islands and snorkelling spots including Beachcomber, Treasure, Mana & Malolo Resorts stopping at one for lunch. Put your own group together or ask at the Musket Cove Boat Bure and they will help organise your day.
Lazy Wednesdays – Snorkel and Lunch Safari with Take a Break Cruises
Take a trip out to Wadigi Reef where you can snorkel and discover where Nemo and his cousins live. Have lunch while we stop at the Funky Fish Resort and check out this new upmarket backpacker Resort.
The Uninhabited Island Adventure on the Dolphin Star
Take a cruise on Dolphin star out to Navadra Island in the outer Mamanuca Islands, the filming base for the Survivor TV programmes. See the stunning coral and swim in the warm clear waters to the beach where you’re footprints will be the first in the sand. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy this secluded Island for your very own.
