Jolly Roger Bermuda

The Jolly Roger is now available for those who want to enjoy either 4 hours of reef fishing or a day of hooking into some Tuna, Wahoo and other large fish during a weekend charter.

The Jolly Roger was built in Crisfield, Maryland, in 2000. Built by Chesapeake Boatworks Inc, the boat was constructed in the traditional Chesapeake fashion and is powered by two 435hp Caterpillar 3208 turbo diesel engines.

The Jolly Roger is a sea-kindly, stable craft with many comforts, including a large and comfortable air conditioned cabin, with ample seating. While inside the cabin, you can enjoy listening to our XM Radio system. There are two restrooms located right inside the cabin – no stairs to climb! And, we have a full snack bar outfitted with chips, cookies, chocolate bars, crackers, water, soda and beer.

The Jolly Roger has been inspected and approved by the Bermuda Marine Board, and is certified to hold 40 passengers.

On our regularly scheduled trips, we look forward to providing you with a few hours of fun and fishing aboard the Jolly Roger. Actual fishing time is 3 hours on each of our trips, which are always in calm waters. Included is light spinning tackle and bait, for your convenience.

Some of the fish you may catch are Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, Porgy and Jacks, just to name a few. Each of these fish is fun to catch and will put up quite a fight – you will certainly remember the experience! Of course, we do encourage the release of all fish.

Our private charter fishing trips are for those persons wishing to land the really big fish, which swim beneath the crystal clear waters of Bermuda. Again, all bait and tackle is included for your convenience, plus you have the option to keep your catch, if you wish. The larger catch may include Tuna and Wahoo, so be prepared to go the distance with these great fighting fish.
