How to Get to Tutukaka or Bay of Islands to board Grand Cru
By Road
Tutukaka is approx. 190klms north of Auckland or approx. 25klms northeast of Whangarei. From Auckland drive north on State Highway One (SH1) until you reach Whangarei (approx. 2 hours). From SH1, follow the signs to Tutukaka Coast. After a lovely 30 min scenic drive, traveling northeast from Whangarei, you will reach Tutukaka.
Bay of Islands is approx. 236klms north of Auckland. It will take you approx. 3 hours and 20 mins to drive from Auckland to the Bay of Islands via SH1 to Kawakawa; then onto State Highway 11 to Paihia, Bay of Islands.
By Air
Air New Zealand Link operates daily flights from the Auckland International Airport to either the Kerikeri (Bay of Islands) Airport or to the Whangarei Airport for Tutukaka.
By coach / bus
Northliner Express or Intercity Coachlines operate daily express coach services from Auckland to Northland. Whangarei is the stop for the Tutukaka Coast and Paihia for the Bay of Islands.
