Beach, barbecue cruise
Cruise down to Islington Bay, Motuihe or to any one of the many beautiful islands in the Hauraki Gulf. Time for fishing, walking, sightseeing or just relaxing in the sun. BBQ lunch on the beach.

Fishing Trips
Evening, all-day or half-day. Bait and rods can be supplied.

Party/Dinner Cruises
Party/Dinner Cruises. For that special occasion, birthday or wedding. For family or for a smaller personal gathering try a dinner cruise taking in the wonderful sights and sounds of Auckland on the water. We can cater, or BYO.

Morning/Afternoon Sightseeing Cruise
Just come, sit back, and relax with a coffee and take in the exciting and beautiful sights.

Overnight/Weekend/Holiday Cruise
Cruise away with a group of friends to a destination of your choice. Anywhere from the Bay of Islands to the Bay of Plenty … or anywhere in between. A package totally tailored for you and your budget. We have popular weekend packages to Kawau and Great Barrier Island, but the choice is totally yours.

Felicitare has been designed and built on the lines of a New Zealand fishing boat to provide safe and comfortable sea-keeping capabilities. The deck and wheelhouse/saloon have been designed to provide up to 30 passengers with good visibility and shelter from the elements.

Felicitare is built of 1½ inch NZ Kauri. Her hull form provides a stable and safe vessel for passengers whilst at rest or underway in all conditions.

Felicitare can also operate as a tow-boat and has many salvage and towing tasks to her credit.

YOUR SKIPPER

Felicitare’s skipper is Alistair Reynolds.

Alistair holds the following qualifications:

  • NZ Coastal Master’s Certificate
  • Auckland Harbour Pilot’s Licence
  • Radar Certificate
  • Radio Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate

Alistair has over 30 years’ experience as master and tugmaster in both New Zealand and offshore in vessels of 40 to 130 feet. He has been involved in offshore pipe-laying, coastal towing and berthing operations of merchant and naval vessels. He has operated tugs with conventional and Voith Schneider propulsion. Over 13 years was spent in employment as tugmaster with the Royal New Zealand Navy.

Alistair comes from a boating family and has always had an involvement with the sea. He has owned launches and yachts all his life, his last yacht being a Stewart 34, the type used by the RNZYS as their match racing yacht until recently. Alistair has undertaken extensive ocean racing and yacht delivery voyages. He currently enjoys windsurfing.

Alistair’s wide range of commercial and leisure experience at sea enables him to offer charterers the confidence and safety that can only be gained from a lifetime working in the marine industry.
