With its lively, seafaring atmosphere, this 1090 berth marina is a favourite with yachtsmen and motor cruisers alike. It is situated at Hamworthy in Holes Bay within Poole Harbour, the world’s second largest natural harbour. Much of the shoreline is undeveloped and there are many inlets and small islands to explore by boat.

Brownsea Island, the largest of the islands in the harbour, is owned by the National Trust and its woodland area is home to all sorts of wildlife. Out of the harbour to the east lies the Solent, offering year-round racing and sheltered cruising around the Isle of Wight.

To the west is Studland Bay and Swanage, with its popular beach and white cliffs. Travelling further west, there are extensive opportunities for cruising in the unspoilt waters of Torbay and the West Country.

The marina has first-class facilities including a chandlery and convenience store located on site. There is a superb toilet and shower building with background music and a state-of-the-art, movement-sensitive lighting system. The building also includes a reception lobby with vending machines, purpose-designed disabled facilities and a laundrette.
