In the Area:
Dubrovnik, known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic” is perhaps the most famous tourist destination in Croatia as well as all of the Mediterranean. Founded in the 7th century, Dubrovnik is rich in culture and history and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The sites to visit in Dubrovnik are numerous and require several days to visit properly. They include towers, fortifications, churches, the Duke’s Palace, museums, etc., but perhaps the quickest way to immerse yourself in the heritage of Dubrovnik is to walk through the Stradun, visiting Luza Square , Sponza Palace and Orlando ‘s Column.
