Set in the north-east corner of Torbay and sheltered from the prevailing south-westerly winds, Torquay Marina provides a safe haven for boats in all weathers. With modern facilities and superb bluewater cruising, it’s popular with yachtsmen from home and overseas.
The 440 berth marina is next to the Pavilion Shopping Centre, a beautifully restored Edwardian building, and right in the centre of the town giving easy access to shops, restaurants and bars.
There are various marine tenants on site providing chandlery, boat brokerage and new boat sales. Basic provisions are available from the dock office and there is a restaurant and café, perfect for when you’ve worked up an appetite on the water.
Torbay itself offers many lovely anchorages, with plenty of coves and beaches to explore, including Babbacombe Bay, Fishcombe Cove and Goodrington Beach. Heading south brings you to the picturesque fishing village of Brixham, where we also have a marina, and where there are many fine restaurants.
Head further west and explore the sheltered River Dart; beyond Start Point is the beautiful Salcombe Estuary with spectacular 400 foot cliffs at Bolt Head. The marina is also conveniently situated for crossing the Channel to Brittany, Normandy and the Channel Islands.

Torquay Marina is just six miles away from Dartside Quay Marine Service Centre, where we offer extensive maintenance facilities for boat owners. Dartside Quay’s location provides access to superb cruising both up the River Dart and along the scenic West Coast. For those keen to venture further, the Channel Islands and the North Brittany coast are ideal for a weekend away.
